Student Sponsorship
We have a limited number of sponsorships to encourage students to join WBU SHRM. If you are delaying the enrollment process due to budget restrictions, consider applying or sponsorship, The sponsorship awards the student's first year's dues ($49). Please complete the application form for consideration - there is no deadline.
These sponsorships have been personally underwritten by members of the WBU faculty in Alaska. Sponsorships will be based on application information, including the following:

- • Education and career goals—and how they connect to WBU SHRM
- • Desire to serve in WBU SHRM leadership
- • Commitment to active participation in WBU SHRM meetings/events/activities
- • Intention to maintain consistent membership following the sponsored year
To apply for WBU SHRM Student Sponsorships:
- Review the application form. completing it after you have drafted your responses.
- If you do not hear from the chapter leaders or faculty advisor within 10 days, email Dr. Mary M. Rydesky - Faculty Advisor or the WBU SHRM Student Chapter to follow up
- When you receive notice, take the next step to join!
To begin your SHRM Student Membership:
- Enroll online through SHRMs secure website, entering "#5583" in the block naming the chapter of interest
- Email WBU SHRM so that we can note this in our membership directory.
*Please include your Membership Number in your email.
